Tyre Monitoring

Monitoring tyre pressures and ambient temperatures

Tyre Pressure Monitoring

One notable innovation is the Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), seamlessly integrated within our mining infrastructure.

The TyreCOP system for monitoring tyre temperature and pressure is meticulously designed to provide precise reports on tyre pressures and ambient temperatures for each position. This data is directly accessible through our Graphite Mining Platform.

Importantly, the TPMS is equipped to alert drivers and platform users to abnormal tyre pressures, effectively mitigating risks associated with underinflated or overinflated tyres. It is adaptable and can be installed on any vehicle up to an ADT size, with customization options available to set ideal pressure parameters directly on the platform.

TyreCOP’s innovative system extends its monitoring capabilities to include brake area temperatures on Hitachi EH3000/EH3500 vehicles. It promptly notifies operators and relevant personnel if wheel motor temperatures exceed safe limits. Integrated with NAE’s fleet management system, TyreCOP ensures immediate alerts to operators when temperature thresholds are met, providing clear instructions to safely park the vehicle, idle for 15 minutes, and power down the engine. This advanced technology enables proactive measures to safeguard both operator wellbeing and vehicle integrity
